Crocus and Cream Tea 2022
How time flies! Once again, the wonderful Crocus and Cream Tea event at East Worlington House & Parish Hall will soon be upon us. Parish Hall Improvement – Internet Connectivity
While retaining its heritage value and historic charm the facilities available at the Parish Hall has moved into the 21st Century with the installation of internet connectivity. This project was driven forward by a small group of community volunteers, for which we thank and express our appreciation, and installed by OpenReach on a BT contract. Successful South West Coast Walk for Charity
Congratulations to Amy Rhodes and her dog Finn who have just completed backpacking the whole of the South West Coast path! They started on the 2nd June in Minehead and walked the 630 miles, finishing on the 27th July. Well done! Pilates – Summer 2021
MESSAGE FROM JESS I can't believe we have finished the 7-week summer term, wow it has flown by! East Worlington Parish Hall Reopens
At the May meeting of East Worlington Parish Hall Committee, the committee discussed and planned the reopening of the Hall following its closure due to COVID-19. The committee considered government guidance and legislation and aims to ensure compliance. A programme of activities from September to December was agreed. East Worlington Parish Hall Reopens May 2021
Following the relaxation of Covid restrictions, East Worlington Parish Hall is open for Pilates classes from 17th May 2021. If all goes to plan, the hall will be open for all activities from 21st June. Our Parish Hall facilities allow us to cater for a wide range of different events, with a stage area for plays and bands, a projection system for talks and demonstrations, tables and chairs for seated events; with a maximum capacity of 80 people.
