East Worlington Parish Hall

How to find us

We are situated in the rural heartlands of North Devon about 7 miles south of the A361 mid way between Barnstaple and Tiverton, just 2 miles to the south west of Witheridge.

The hall floor is sprung hardwood with underfloor heating, approx 13.65m x 4.9m (14.9yd x 5.3yd) with a separate raised stage area 2.3m x 4.9m. We have wi-fi, projector and screen, a well equipped kitchen, crockery, cutlery, with tables and chairs if required.

A Venue of Choice

We have a liquor license allowing consumption on the premises, but not the sale of, alcohol. The raised stage is ideal for a small band, play or pantomime and a drop down screen/projector allows the stage to be the focus for a film or presentation.

Regular Events and Management

Social Events

We hold regular social events in the Parish Hall running from a monthly Sunday brunch, ad hoc quizzes, film nights, talks, pub nights to the annual Christmas lunch.

Monthly Draw

We run a monthly prize draw to help support the funds needed to improve and maintain the Hall. The draw normally takes place during the Sunday brunch (second Sunday of each month).

Hall Governance

The Parish Hall committee administers the East Worlington Parish Hall (we are a registered Charity) and hold general meetings in the hall four times a year.
