Login to the EWPH web site. If you don’t have a list of options on a black background at the left of the screen (the Dashboard) you need to click on the EWPH entry at the top left of the screen and choose dashboard from the list of options.
Add to an Existing Gallery
On the Dashboard place you mouse over the Gallery option (do not click) and when a list of options appear choose Add Gallery/Images:
On the gallery page that appears select an existing gallery from the drop down list in the box called Gallery:
Create a Gallery
On the Dashboard place you mouse over the Gallery option (do not click) and when a list of options appear choose Add Gallery/Images:
On the gallery page that appears leave the first entry list as Create a new gallery and type in the gallery name in the second box:
Adding Pictures
Once you have chosen a gallery or entered a gallery name use the Add Files button to open up a dialog and select the pictures you want to add to the gallery. You can select a range of pictures by clicking on the first file and holding down the shift key click on the last file. You can select multiple files by holding down the Ctrl key as you click on each file. Click on the Open button to confirm your selection.
Alternatively you can add pictures by dragging and dropping the files into the area below the gallery selection row.
After the select files dialog closes on the gallery page click the Start Upload button and wait for all the images to be uploaded. You must wait for all files to be uploaded, do not leave the page until you see the confirmation popup window bottom right:
Note. Large images will take a long time to upload and, more importantly, display on the web page (especially on slow rural broadband connections), large images will be reduced in size when they are displayed on the page but can be linked to allow the hi-resolution original to be downloaded. If you just want to show a picture on the page then resize the picture before uploading to a width of 1200 pixels (or less) because the displayed web page is limited to 1200 pixels wide.
