27/9/1918 Western Times Article: A successful fete consisting of skittling, bowling, shooting gallery, guessing competitions and a variety hall has been held at East Worlington Rectory. In the evening a concert was given in the Old Tythe Barn by South Molton ‘Cheery O!’ Company. The proceeds amounting tp £20 / 7s / 1d were in aid of the District Nurse Fund.
