Heritage Project Group Portfolio

As part of the Parish Hall Conservation and Improvement project the Heritage Project Group instigated a number of projects with local community involvement. They also produced a small number of printed fact sheets or booklets about the locla area and buildings.

Community Projects

School Inheritance Recipes Book

As part of the Heritage Project pupils of East Worlington School collected favourite family recipes and published these in an A5 booklet. The children inherited these recipes from older members of their families.

The Amazing Worlington Quilt

A tapestry produced by local school children depicting the Worlington area utilising fabric to represent buildings, fields, rivers, tractor tyre tracks, animal paths, footpaths, stone patterns, crop patterns, marshy areas and tree patterns.
