This site is a Content Management System implemented using WordPress which means any authorised user can contribute to the site. As long as you can use an editor like Microsoft Word you will be able to create and edit web pages and posts – you don’t have to know anything about web things like HTML.
You may want to have a look at the EWPH Administration help page if you are managing the web site or want to understand how we use WordPress to support the EWPH web site.
If you are new to WordPress please use our guidelines below rather than information you find froma general internet search. While most of this information is useful it may contradict the recommended approach for working with the EWPH web site. In particular we have a complex setup for storing files and images (photos) and general WordPress articles that describe how to store images or documents will not take this into account.

The booking form for hiring the hall is implemented using the Contact Form 7 plugin and an associated Contact Form Entries plugin. The Contact Form 7 plugin defines the form for submitting a hall booking request and the configuration of confirmatory emails to the bookings administrator and person making the booking.
