Lighting of a Beacon at Jean Smyth’s.

Burgers & hot dogs available from 8.15pm. Please bring your own drinks and something to sit on. The Parish Hall will be open for loos and there will be bins and recycling boxes available. If you’d like to attend please email one of the following ladies:

Village walk led by Sir Hugh

Leaving from Affeton Castle at 2:00pm. Car parking will be signed behind the castle. After the walk there will be a cream tea in Affeton gardens. If you would like to attend the tea, but you can’t do the walk, please put this on the email. Cakes and scones needed please. More details to follow shortly but please let us know if you can help. If you’d like to attend, please email one of the following ladies along with any offers of baking!

Thanks Giving Service, East Worlington Church

The Churches of Worlington will be holding a special service to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee commencing at 11.15am in East Church. The lunch follows in the Parish Hall. There will be car parking for the Sunday Service available in Jean’s field. The church will also be full of colour from a variety of flower displays and well worth a visit. There will be a prize-winning ticket ………. There will be car parking for the Sunday Service and Jubilee Lunch available in Jean’s field. We will need volunteer helpers on the Saturday afternoon to help set up tables, chairs, gazebos etc and again on Sunday to do car parking, take down gazebos and clear up after the meal. Again, please let us know if you can help. |
East Worlington Primary School Open Day

The school would like to invite the community to open morning where the children and adults will be taking part in Jubilee related arts and craft activities. At 12:00 a ‘Street Party’ followed by some themed games and finishing of the arts and crafts from the morning.
